A WORD FROM THE EDITORIAL BURROW
Independent. Cold-blooded.
Entirely made up.
Lizardpeople Today is a parody newspaper for an imaginary readership with excellent tailoring and very specific temperature requirements.
We cover the day-to-day concerns of the reptilian establishment: housing costs, difficult colleagues, disappointing holidays, and the administrative burden of supposedly controlling everything.
Some stories take place entirely in our fictional world. Others look at real news from an absurd reptilian perspective. If there is a real-world event behind a story, you will find a clearly labeled source note and a link to the original reporting at the end.
The bit, on the record
This is satire. Our reptiles, reporters, interviews, organizations, and quotations are fictional. Nothing here is evidence of a secret reptilian government. The conspiracy premise is the joke.
Our illustrations are AI-generated. The original magazine covers date to April 2025; the newspaper began in October 2026. You can visit the archive to see where it started.

A small privacy note
This edition has no accounts, advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or mailing-list forms. The web server may record ordinary request logs. We have enough fictional surveillance to manage already.
